My name is Kit. I am an artist and creative assistant who believes in the power of art to help people thrive. I edit and curate Trash Wonderland, a biannual publication of writing and art, and have built a community of artists, readers, and people who feel discarded in other spaces.
I write fiction, non-fiction, and drama. When I’m not making art or helping others make art, I can be found listening to decadent playlists and exploring Portland, Oregon’s parks and libraries.

About My Art
I love playing and creating characters with deep emotional experiences and my interdisciplinary background informs every project I do. I create stories that readers and audiences describe as “harrowing” and “jittery, bursting with humor.” I am currently working on a book about something that’s been haunting me, and you can find my fiction, non-fiction, scripts, and illustrations in small press anthologies and literary magazines.
Some of My Favorite Projects
In 2026, I was selected to present at KQED’s live recording of their podcast “Close All Tabs.” Wrote and performed a presentation called “Justice for Microphone Cat” in front of a live studio audience.
I devised and performed Danger Angel, solo work produced at Copious Love Productions in Seattle, WA. Described by Butch Alice, producer and drag queen, as “Some of the best solo durational performance I’ve seen.”
I played Elyot in Reboot Theatre Company’s production of Private Lives and the Emcee in Pullman Vs. Paxton’s production of Cabaret in Seattle, WA.
I directed a short play for the “Inspired By. . .” interdisciplinary theater festival by MirrorStage in Seattle, WA.

I am a freelance professional with experience coordinating social media pages, creating marketing campaigns, writing content and captions, and helping artists and business with everything from graphic design to visual merchandising.
I stage-manage, provide administrative assistance, usher, and run AV technology for events.
